My 9 year old started playing guitar this year and is now learning with Jake. We highly recommend Jake! She is very patient, funny and kind. Great for young learners! 10/10 recommend!!

My 6.5 y/o had her first drum set lesson and as we were walking out the door, she needed to know when her next lesson was. Michael’s patience and openness was truly appreciated and we are so happy to know we have a local place to take our children to explore music.

I started drumming in August with no experience. Since then Michael has taken me over many hurdles and I’m starting to feel comfortable with keeping a beat, learning the variations, and having fun. Taking lessons is by far the best way to learn. It’s a slow process (for a retired guy) and each step brings a better understanding of how to get the 4 appendages to work independently. Michael is a master musician and teacher. I highly recommend taking lessons at his school.

I’m a late to the party beginner drummer. I joined the group lesson a few weeks ago. I’m now planning on taking lessons and trying to keep a beat! Michael is the real thing. As well as being a crazy good drummer, he knows how to instruct someone like me with positive support and guidance. I’m really looking forward to continuing the lessons and practice, practice, practice. I’m well into retirement and enjoying my new hobby.

Micheal is a world class drummer with more drumming accalaides to his name than I could even begin to say. Any student would be lucky to learn from him.
